Fabregas OUT!!

I have heard from my sources that Cesc Fabregas has a broken leg!  One of those sources is our official Arsenal blogger of the Goalmouth Scramble, Greg Pennington.  Just letting everyone know - you heard it her first!!  Of course, if this is official, the Gunners EPL title hopes, as well as their Champion's League aspirations - as you see below - you can kiss them goodbye.

The next question would be....how will this effect Spain's World Cup chances?  Let us know your thoughts.

I would not count the Gunners out just yet in the PL. If you look at their remaining fixtures their two toughest games will be Man City and Spurs. While Man U has to face Chelsea without Rooney who is going to be out for the next 2-4 weeks after the Bayern game and Chelsea have to keep from falling apart against Man U, Spurs, and Liverpool. Chelsea might have the best shot at this if Frank Lampard can keep scoring goals like the four he netted against Aston Villa and if Drogba continues to be... Drogba, but I should also not be so quick to dismiss Manchester United as a one-man squad.
Long story short, losing Fabregas is bad news, and probably means they can't hang with Barca especially at Camp Nou in the second leg, but I would not count my chickens just yet in the Premier League.
