Van Persie ruled out for 6 Weeks!
Robin Van Persie has been ruled out for 6 weeks after tearing an ankle ligament while on international duty for the Netherlands. It is said that Arsenal is breathing a "sigh of relief" after finding out it would only be 6 weeks. RVP has scored 8 goals in 15 games so far this season...and because of the injury he will miss out on a couple big matches.
Van Persie will miss the match against Chelsea on November 29th at the Emirates & the match at Anfield against Liverpool on December 13th. If 6 weeks is correct - he is going to miss as substantial amount of games because of Christmas' hectic schedule.
Once again, this brings up the question that I always ask when things like this happen. Who should be responsible for paying Van Persie's wages for the next 6 weeks. Since he was hurt on International duty, I think the Netherlands should be responsible...what do you think?
