English Premier League's Best XI So Far This Season - Notes from the Oct. 5th EPL Review Show
Best XI so far this season in the Premiership
G Joe Hart – he has only allowed 8 goals even
though Birmingham are under the gun in most contests
D Vermaelen – 4 Goals and 1 assist in 7 games
D – Glen Johnson – 2
G 3 A - has made Liverpool a threat down the right flank
D – Richard Dunne of
Villa – has been the backbone of the Villa defense since coming over from Man
City – Villa are tied for least goal allowed with 6
M – Fabregas – do I
even need to go into detail here – 4 G 8 A and has only played in 3 full games,
a half of another and 75 minutes in 2 others – the guy is the MVP so far
M – Gerrard – 3 G 4 A
– he probably hasn’t been as deadly this year – but is still a threat anytime
the ball is at his feet from 40 yards in
M – Lampard – 1 G 4 A
– definitely not having his best season, but is still the key figure in the
midfield for Chelsea
M – Giggs – 1 G 6 A –
he is playing like he is 27 again – has been one of the 2 best players, with
Wayne Rooney, for United all year…and just like Fab – he has only played in 3
full games – twice he played 45 minutes or less and 84 minutes in another
F – Drogba – 6 G 6 A
– Ancelotti has been huge for him and I am wondering if Chelsea is now Drogba’s
team and not Lampard’s
F – Torres – 8 G 1 A
– has only played in 5 full games – played 66, 74 & 83 minutes in the other
3 – the best striker in the premier league
F – Adebayor – 4 G 1 A in 5 games - He has scored the only goal in both 1-0 victories Man City has had.
That is my thoughts - am I way off base? Who is your Best XI so far? Leave yours in the comment section below!!

Hi guys!
Yeah pretty agreed with you on majority of the Best XI. though I'd pick Ballack ahead of Lampard.
